“On the influence of shock-cloud interactions on the nonthermal X-ray emission from the supernova remnant RCW 86”, for which Dr. Bamba was the lead author, has been accepted for publication in PASJ. The paper examines how the interaction between molecular clouds and shock waves is related to the cosmic ray acceleration efficiency in the eastern part of RCW 86, a remnant of a supernova whose explosion is recorded in the Go-Kan Sho (Records of Supernova Explosions).
