Associate Professor Bamba’s new paper, “On the X-ray efficiency of the white dwarf pulsar candidate ZTF J190132.9+145808.7,” has been accepted for publication in PASJ. The paper shows the possibility that white dwarfs can be pulsars like neutron stars, and that X-rays can be effective in searching for white dwarfs formed as a result of white dwarf-white dwarf mergers, which are considered to be heavy and have a high rotation velocity.
